Frequently Asked Questions
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime from your account settings. Annual plans run for 12 months but auto-renew only with 30 days' advance notice to you. We never use "annual-billed-monthly" traps or early-termination fees.
How does the free trial work?
14 days of full Pro-plan access. No credit card required to start. We'll email you 3 days before the trial ends. If you don't upgrade, your account moves to read-only mode and we hold your data for 60 days in case you come back.
What's the money-back guarantee?
Full refund of your first subscription payment if you cancel within 30 days. No questions, no forms, no retention calls. One email to support@fieldwisehq.com and we process the refund within 5 business days.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You own your data. On cancellation, you get 60 days of read-only access to export everything as CSV — customers, jobs, invoices, estimates, payments, time entries. After 60 days we delete it from active systems, and from backups within 90 more days.
Are there setup or implementation fees?
No. ServiceTitan charges $5,000 to $50,000 for implementation. We don't. You can import your data via CSV in the onboarding wizard or start fresh — either way, it's included.
Will the price go up on me?
Your price is locked for the current subscription period. If we raise prices for future periods, we give you 60 days' email notice. You can cancel at zero cost before the change takes effect, or continue at the new rate.
Do you charge per technician?
No. We charge per plan tier with clear user limits. ServiceTitan charges $245-$500 per technician per month — we think that's predatory. A 5-tech shop on our Pro plan pays $99/mo total, period.
How do SMS notifications work?
SMS is included on Pro and up. We pass Twilio's per-message cost through to you at cost (no markup) — typically about 1¢ per US SMS. You can see your usage in the Billing page anytime.
What integrations do you support?
Stripe for payments, QuickBooks for accounting, Google Calendar for scheduling, and Twilio for SMS. More integrations roll out throughout 2026. Business and Enterprise plans include API access for custom integrations.
What if I need to downgrade?
Downgrade anytime. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. No pro-rated refunds for unused time at the higher tier, but no penalty for changing either. Upgrade takes effect immediately and you're charged a pro-rated difference.
