What it's like to work here
FieldWise HQ is a small, remote-first team focused on shipping real value to small businesses. No committees. No theatre. Ownership of your work from the ticket to production. Weekly customer conversations so you never lose sight of who you're building for.
Our stack is deliberately boring: Node.js and PostgreSQL on the backend, vanilla HTML/CSS/JS on the admin, Swift/SwiftUI on iOS. We prefer fewer, stronger abstractions and long-lived code over framework churn.
Open roles
We are not currently hiring for any specific roles. However, we are always open to hearing from exceptional engineers, designers, and customer-success people who want to build for the underdog. If that's you, please reach out.
What we look for
- Craftspeople. People who care about the details that customers feel, not the details that look good on a résumé.
- Owners. You see a problem, you fix it — you don't throw it over the fence.
- Communicators. Remote work requires good writing. Clarity beats cleverness.
- Empathy for blue-collar users. Our customers run with wrenches in their hands. Software that requires a PhD to configure has already failed.
